I took my Ford Explorer in for a simple oil change, but what followed turned into a complete disaster. While pulling into the service bay, the car was wrecked. Instead of taking responsibility, the dealership avoided addressing the damage and sent my car to an unknown body shop. I am blind and own the car that was serviced, a 2014 escape. I asked my daughter to take the car in. She’s been there before and she requested an oil change and car detail. The service advisor charge me nearly $250 for a “full service“ oil change, which included a whole bunch of additives that I have never purchased before. I have been very happy with my experience with Aaron Ford of Poway. They made the experience of getting the car I wanted easy and they went out of their way to find the exact car I wanted, Devon and Michael were great! Recently I had an issue with a screw in my tire, and their service department was able to take me in without an appointment and patch the tire for free. Very happy with the service team so far.

Michael did a great job with our vehicle. Brought it in for routine service and asked him to check out some issues we were having with the Sync system. They found an issue and asked us to leave the vehicle while he ordered parts. He got us into an equivalent rental for the time they had our vehicle. There some issues getting the parts but he made sure we had the rental car for the duration of the time. Everything is working perfectly now and they even washed the very muddy vehicle before we picked it up.


Called me several times, finally made an appointment. When I needed to reschedule, I tried for 3 days and received no response. The service rep showed up, wasting their time as no one was home. Horrible waste of resources, terrible follow up. Revision: Service Center reached out and discovered that their central communication center did not log my texts. They were very apologetic and appreciated the feedback. We rescheduled and they came out and fixed the recall issue.

From start to finish. My experience with buying my truck was great. I spoke to Devin the sales manager over the phone to see if a specific vehicle was available. Then, I arrived at the dealerships and met Devin who then introduced me to Jimmy my salesman. They both helped me out and made for a good experience in purchasing my vehicle. I would recommend you come in and see them if looking to buy a vehicle.

Backstory: I took my truck in for its 30000 mile service a couple of weeks ago. While it was being serviced, the lift had an extension failure and the truck slipped, damaging the passenger-side running board. Mike Rogers explained to me what had happened and set up an appointment for me to bring the truck back in for repairs a couple of weeks later, after I had returned from a trip. The appointment was for 0800 on April 17. I dropped the truck off early, around 0600, then went to work and waited for the call telling me the truck was ready. And waited. ...

Wasn't initially planning on purchasing a vehicle in the San Diego area as that's quite a drive (4-5+ hours depending on traffic) from where I live, but found a great deal on my dream car there and their team (Chris, Diego, and their sales manager.. believe his name was Brian, as well as their GM Ryan) has been so very helpful and extremely responsive with all of my questions that it's worth making the drive!
